Wine tourism in Ribeira Sacra

Be amazed by the charm of wine tourism

Wine tourism is a growing trend, increasingly popular among travellers seeking to immerse themselves in the culture of wine through visits to vineyards, wineries, and wine regions. From our winery, located in the Ribeira Sacra, we offer guided wine experiences, a unique opportunity to discover the winemaking tradition of this fascinating region, learn about the wine production process, and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

The Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin dates back to the 6th century, when the first monasteries were established in the area, surrounded by vineyards planted on seemingly impossible terraces. This is where the concept of “heroic viticulture” originates characterised by steep slopes along the banks of the Miño and Sil rivers, where mechanisation is extremely difficult, making each harvest a true challenge. Despite this, the result is wines of exceptional quality, deeply shaped by their unique terroir.
