Discover Our Vineyards – Castilla y León
In the case of Castilla y León, we have a completely different story from the one that furrows the territory of Ribeira Sacra. León has the characteristic of being more arid, both in its treatment and its territory. The climate is much drier, as is the relationship established between people and the vines. Here it is no longer about hereditary owners and history, but rather a process where the commercial takes precedence over the patrimonial.
The grape produced in León differs completely from the one that has been cultivated in Ribeira Sacra. The main factor is the soil: we are facing stony limestone soil that allows drainage to the lower layers.
